We currently provide close to 50 interactive online tools for mining and geoscience applications, most of which are freely available, as well as links to off-campus tools.
This page and its supporting pages present the available tools in a variety of different ways that we hope will make it easier for you to find a tool that fits your application.
Click on a tool title to display an introduction to the tool. Each tool includes notes on browser requirements.
Most tools are cross-browser compatible and will work in IE, Firefox, Chrome or Safari ... a few still require Internet Explorer V6 (or higher).
Many of the tools require the
SVG Viewer plugin from Adobe for vector graphics ... which can be downloaded by clicking on the download icon in the sidebar on the left.
