Professional Association Listings

In the interests of promoting better communication, networking and collaboration in professional development, EduMine maintains extensive listings of professional associations (as well as educational institutions) in mining and the geosciences.

If your professional association, institute, council, etc. is not included in these listings, and you think it should be, then please email us with the necessary information, including association title, country, website and contact information.

If you have not already done so, we would be delighted if you were to include a link to EduMine on your own website. Some suggestions for linking can be found here.

If you think your professional association, institute, council, etc. might also be interested in opportunities for collaborative development, usage and support of professional development resources, then read on below ...

Professional Affiliate Program

EduMine courses represent a significant online resource for professional development and technical reference.

EduMine currently has more than 50 courses representing approximately 800 hours of professional development content. The courses include topics in exploration, evaluation, environment, engineering, mining, management, mineral processing and computer applications.

EduMine enrollment provides unrestricted access to all courses for learning and reference purposes.

EduMine is approved by the IACET (International Association for Continuing Education and Training) as a provider of continuing education and is authorized to award CEUs (continuing education units) for successful completion of course requirements.

Access to online tools, technical publications and mining and geoscience event listings is included.

Enrollment also provides unrestricted access to a growing library of online mining tools, a large mining publications database, and mining and geoscience event listings.

The Affiliate Program provides all of the above to the membership of an association at a discounted enrollment rate.

All of the above is available to members of an affiliated professional association for an Institutional Enrollment fee of Can$423.50 per year (or Can$38.50 per month) plus a Can$20.00 activation fee, payable by individual members. This represents a discount of approximately 10% on the Standard Enrollment rate.

AusIMMThe AusIMM (Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy) is a Professional Affiliate. AusIMM members qualify for the Institutional Enrollment rate. In return, the AusIMM promotes EduMine to its membership

Professional Partner Program

The Partner Program includes all of the benefits of the affiliate program, plus ...

The Partner Program builds on the Affiliate Program (described above) as a platform for collaborative development and endorsement of online courses for professionals in mining and the geosciences.

Authoring opportunities provide royalties to members and the association.

There is a growing demand for course material on specialized topics. Professional associations and individual members can benefit from an authoring program that contributes up to 40% of revenues as course royalties.

EduMine provides tools and support services to assist authors with preparation of course material in a web-ready format.

A Campus Page on EduMine provides a professional development focus for members ... and audience recognition for the association.

The campus page provides customized login, reporting, linking and news functionality, and a platform for directed learning programs.

It also provides opportunity for increased audience recognition through exposure to the large InfoMine / EduMine online audience.

CIMThe CIM is a Professional Partner. The CIM - EduMine partnership involves mounting of CIM sponsored, certified and peer-reviewed courses on the EduMine website. View the CIM Campus on EduMine (you will need an EduMine profile to login to the CIM Campus ... if you don't already have one then register for a free trial first).
