New to Mining

Our introductory level courses are for those who are relatively new to mining or certain topics in mining. They provide a means of rapidly improving your background knowledge and appreciation of mining topics.

All courses employ a self-learning approach that allows you to study in your own time, at your own pace, from any convenient location. Most courses offer optional online certification and qualify for award of continuing education units (CEU) and professional development hours (PDH). See catalog listings for details.

In collaboration with the University of British Columbia, we also present an integration of online courses with classroom short courses through our blended learning program.
