Simon Fraser University partners with EduMine for Online Business Courses
Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Business Administration is partnering with EduMine to deliver online courses focused on the business of mining. The courses are being developed by the Learning Strategies Group, a division of SFU Business which provides customized training solutions to businesses and organizations. The new online learning modules will add significantly to EduMine's online professional development resources for business applications in mining and they provide another pathway to learning and accreditation for students seeking graduate level business education.
"We are very pleased to partner with EduMine to deliver these courses to a global audience of mining professionals,” says Tom Brown, program director with the Learning Strategies Group. “SFU Business has designed and delivered customized graduate level business courses for the mining and resource sector for 12 years. British Columbia has an outstanding global reputation for expertise in mining and we are uniquely positioned to meet the educational challenges of this rapidly evolving sector."
Simon Houlding of EduMine notes: "This is a great opportunity for EduMine and our global audience to expand horizons with graduate level courses on business applications in mining by a leader in the field."
Through this partnership, SFU Business faculty and students have unrestricted access to EduMine courses and other resources through the SFU Business Campus on EduMine.
