All courses are presented by the Mining Studies Institute (MSI) of the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining at UBC.

All courses qualify for the UBC Certificate in Mining Studies. Each course can be taken as an individual course or can be applied to the Certificate. To be valid for the Certificate, students must take corresponding EduMine online courses and complete a course project. The Certificate of Mining Studies is a means for industry professionals to stay abreast of current technology and/or learn new skills without taking time away from their career to go "back to school".

All courses are presented at the UBC Robson Square location in downtown Vancouver.
