Professor Buchanan is Emeritus Professor of Mining Geology and Senior Research Fellow, Imperial College, London. He is a Mining Geologist with 26 years experience teaching mining geology, mineral exploration and mineral project appraisal. He is founder and Chairman of IC-FinEval Ltd., an Imperial College start-up company which provides financial evaluation, risk assessment and decision making software.
