Open Pit Slope Design and Implementation

Provisional Schedule

Instruction will take place from 9:00AM to 5:00PM each day, with a lunch break from noon to 1:00PM and 15 minute snack breaks in mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

The course will include presentations and discussions.  Course participants will be encouraged to present case histories from their own experience for general discussion.

The course includes following topics:

• Fundamental of slope design
• Data collection
• Slope Design tools
• Slope design process
• Implementation of slope designs
• Slope management
