Summary
This course in webcast format is one in the series of courses designed to address mineral processing of a specific substance. The course is intended to explore in depth the processing of coal. It provides a solid background in terms of coal properties in relation to its utilization and physical cleaning. More specifically... coal processing unit operations such as crushing, screening, classification, gravity separation, flotation and handling of final product will be addressed.

Doctor Maria E. Holuszko is a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM). She is a Mineral Process engineer with twenty years of experience in Mineral and Coal Processing research.
