Introduction

Field Portable X-ray Fluorescence analyzers are quickly becoming prevalent within the mining industry. The ease of use, reliability and accuracy provided by this technology allow for quick decision making at low cost in real time. This course introduces the technology, application, operation and safety issues of field-portable XRF instrumentation.

Course Content

The presentation follows a light, easy-to-read format. The course comprises six learning sessions, each of approximately 30 - 60 minutes duration, plus an interactive review that confirm the viewer's achievement of learning objectives. The total duration of the course is approximately four hours.
