Mongolian Mining Corporation (MMC; SEHK Stock Code: 975) is a high-quality coking coal producer and exporter in Mongolia. It owns and operates an open-pit coking coal mines at Ukhaa Khudag (UHG) deposit located within the Tavan Tolgoi coal formation and Baruun Naran (BN) deposit, both in South Gobi, Mongolia. In August 2006, the company was granted with mining license MV-11952 for the Ukhaa Khudag coking coal deposit covering area of 2,960 hectares and mining at Ukhaa Khudag commenced in April, 2009. In June 2011, the company acquired 100% interests in QGX Coal Ltd and its indirectly owned subsidiary Khangad Exploration LLC, the holder of mining license MV-14493 for the Baruun Naran coking coal deposit covering the area of 4,486 hectares.
