    We develop, maintain and manage the EduMine website and perform all monitoring, accounting and record keeping for enrollment/registration, certification, viewer statistics and distribution of royalties/payment of instructor fees. We issue professional development certificates and maintain learner and attendee records.

  • Get involved in the Certificate in Mining Studies program.

    Many of EduMine's short courses, webcasts and online courses qualify for the Certificate in Mining Studies (CMS) program. Contact us to find out how courses are selected for the CMS, and how to get involved.

  • Courses must be relevant to a mining audience.

    The subject should be of interest to either a professional audience or a skilled trade professional in mining. The course should provide a practical, in-depth, effective treatment of the subject.

  • Course content must be appropriate to intended learning outcomes.

    Courses must be developed by qualified personnel. Course content and instructional methods must be appropriate for the intended learning outcomes.

Online Course Authors

EduMine is the leading provider of online training, education and professional development to the mining industry.

  • Most courses qualify for formal professional development.

    Our IACET accreditation qualifies EduMine to award CEUs (continuing education units), and PDHs (professional development hours), for successful completion of qualifying courses.

  • Royalties

    Royalties are based on the relative popularity of courses. Authors receive a quarterly royalty payment.

  • Courses benefit from peer-review, quality control and learner evaluation.

    Courses receive the benefit of peer-review, quality control and learner evaluation. Our technical writers work with our authors to present their course effectively in our template.

Short Course Presenters

We need our experts to facilitate the classroom process - EduMine will do the rest! We promote the course, organize logistics, and attract professionals from around the world.

  • Participate in the success of the short course.

    Presenters are guaranteed a flat fee for the course presentation. Extra compensation is paid per individual registered, up to the course maximum of, roughly 20 students. Class size can be negotiated.

  • Benefit from EduMine's blended learning model.

    EduMine provides access to our library of online courses for all delegates before and after the course, to enable pre-course e-learning. This learning component provides participants with important background material which increases their understanding and appreciation of the classroom short course. A good understanding of this material, confirmed by completion of interactive reviews, enables participants to derive maximum benefit from the short courses. The blended learning format is also designed to minimize time spent away from the job.

  • Get feedback from delegates.

    EduMine will forward presenters a summary of evaluations from the attendees, to enable continual improvement for future audiences.

Live Webcast Presenters

We need our experts to facilitate the learning process - EduMine will do the rest! We promote the webcast globally, and manage all technical and logistical matters. Participants from all over the world join these online lectures.

  • Participate in the success of the webcast.

    Presenters will receive a variable fee for the course, dependent on the number of delegates that attend. Because a webcast is hosted online, there is an opportunity to invite significantly more delegates.

  • Teach from EduMine's webcast studio, or a personal office.

    EduMine will provide course facilities including a laptop, video camera and microphone, internet and webcast software access at our webcast studio. We will distribute electronic pdf copies of course notes to all attendees prior to each webcast. Contact us for more specific requirements.
